About Lens & Partners

Carl Lens

Carl Lens is Managing Partner at Lens & Partners Executive Search & Coaching. His core expertise concerns Healthcare, Life Sciences, Business Services and Not for Profit.

After having been International Director for an English Executive Search firm, Carl co-founded and managed an Internet start-up company before establishing Lens & Partners with Dave Heilbron. His credentials include specific experience in search engagements for board level and senior management positions in Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Health Insurance, Care & Cure, NGO’s and Financial and Business services.

Carl also conducts individual career development programs and executive coaching programs for employees of companies and institutes, and for private individuals.

Carl chairs MachaWorks Foundation (www.machaworks.org).

Training: Carl Lens is physiotherapist and undergraduate Economy from the University of Amsterdam.
Languages: Dutch (native speaker), fluent in English, German and basic French.

Dave Heilbron

Dave Heilbron is Partner with Lens & Partners Executive Search & Coaching. His disciplines include Actuary, Finance, Risk Management, Not for Profit and Business Services.

Dave Heilbron joined the executive search firm Converge as a Sr. Consultant in 2007 to acquire it together with Carl Lens that same year. Dave has held several European Marketing Management positions with Buhrmann/Corporate Express/Staples. In his last position before joining Lens & Partners, he managed a Business Unit in Germany. His credentials include specific experience in search engagements for senior management positions in such sectors as Insurance, Banking, Investment Management, Consultancy, FMCG Energy NGO’s, and in Family Businesses and Trusts. He is also regularly involved in reorganizing and setting up HR organizations for different companies.

Training: Dave Heilbron is an International Business graduate from Nyenrode University and holds a Master’s Degree in General Management. Languages: Dutch and English (native speaker), fluent in German. Basic French language skills.

Jacqueline Sanders

Jacqueline Sanders is Partner with Lens & Partners Executive Search & Coaching; She specializes in the search procedures of seniors and directors in the Finance, Investment Management, Private Wealth and FMCG Sectors. Jacqueline has more than twenty five years experience in finding suitable executives for financial institutions, lifestyle companies independent administrative bodies, commercial finance, FMCG's, Sales & Marketing and Communication organizations, foundations, associations and consulting firms in these sectors.

Before she started working at Lens & Partners, Jacqueline was Managing Partner of her own executive search company for the last ten years. Before that, she worked for and with several other well-known executive search firms.

Training: Jacqueline Sanders studied Law at University of Amsterdam. Languages: Dutch (native) fluent in English and German. Intermediate French and Hebrew language skills.

Paul van der Zee

Paul van der Zee is Partner with Lens & Partners Executive Search & Coaching. He specializes in finding suitable candidates for board level and senior management positions with national and international companies in the ICT and Operations Management sector.

Before joining Lens & Partners, Paul has been an Interim ICT Management Executive with special focus on Insurance, Automotive, Facility Services, ICT service providers, Logistics and Engineering. Between 1992 and 1998 he served as Manager with Buhrmann N.V. on numerous demanding international projects with both operations and commercial components. Subsequently he was a Director at Chevalier International from 1998 to 2000 before returning to Buhrmann/Paperlinx in 2000.

Training: Paul van der Zee is a Business Economics graduate from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Languages: Dutch (native speaker), fluent in English and German. Basic Spanish and French language skills.
